Our Plans

Our goal with this page and our YouTube channel is to share some of the adventures we plan as we continue to restore our Trawlers and begin the loop. Six years ago we got our first trawler, a Marine Trader 34DC. We started fixing her up but realized she was going to be too small for us. Last August we found a DeFever 43 needing to be saved in Maine and we jumped on it. It will be a multi-year effort to get her in shape and ready for the loop.

2021 - For now, Liberty 2 is in the hard in Maine. Plan is to do some key repairs in the spring and move to Thamesport Marina in New London CT for 2022.

2022 - We will spend the summer in Connecticut in 2022. That is our home state and look forward to seeing our family over the summer.

2023 - Plan is to move to Lake Erie around Sundusky

2024 - We will see, if still in our house in Ohio, we may bring here down the river systems into the Ohio river.
